Activity Report: “ Orientation Program”
Objective: Orientation programs are aimed at familiarizing the students to an unknown campus environment, its facilities and infrastructure. It enables them to make essential connection with studies and develop network among other people.
Location: Dept. of Contemporary and Advanced dentistry.
Audience: Staff Members, Post Graduate, Interns and BDS 1st year students JDC MVGU.

Guest Speaker Dr. Vikas Jeph sir spoke about the importance of orientation program, Student orientation is the period prior to the start of the academic year at a college or university where a variety of events are held to welcome and acclimate new students. These activities are planned to help freshmen make friends at their new institutions, as well as to bond with one another and older students.
Dr Yogesh Yadav also expressed his views in program.
Dr Deepak Sharma shared his views, Orientation programs are designed to help new students have a successful time in college and research shows students who go are better prepared and more connected to college. There are opportunities to learn more about campus resources, strategies for academic success.
Description: Orientation is a much-needed program that when planned correctly can aid all participants–new students, faculty, staff, administration, and current students. Orientation is designed to answer questions and to provide solutions before problems occur.
