Jaipur School of Law on the occasion of Teacher’s Day in the supervision & guidance of Dean & Head, Dr. Mahendra Tiwari had started a Mission named “Healthy India, Happy India, United India, Great India”. This Mission is inspired and motivated by the words of our Hon’ble Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi on the eve of 150th Birth Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi (Rashtrapita). To fulfill the object of this mission and to fulfill the vision and mission of Jaipur School of Law as well as of Maharaj Vinayak Global University, Jaipur, we had started a social work in the form of pasting various slogans for awareness of the society relating to social cause. With this aim and object and as a best practice around 25 students along with 5 faculty staff had visited the Prem Mandir a beautiful temple of Lord Radhakrishna at Mathura. Where we started our awareness program; students along with the faculty attached poster on their back which contains meaningful awareness slogan about the wrong doings in the society and we roam around in the temple with these posters, people were taking keen interests in reading the slogan from our back side posters and they highly appreciated our efforts. After that we head to Govardhan Ji, where we started our Parikramah with these posters attached to our back only to spread awareness amongst the devotees as we walk 21km path. We are fully committed to continue this mission for this Academic Session 2019-20 and onwards. This mission is giving a sense of feeling to the students that being a citizen we owe a duty towards the nation.
Students thereafter also visited at Keoladeo National Park (International Bird Sanctuary) as an educational tour. The Keoladeo National Park has been declared as UNESCO World Heritage Centre as it is an important ground of migratory waterfowl and is renowned for its large congregation of non-migratory residents of breeding birds. By visiting the Park, students came to know how Environmental Protection Act and Wild Animal Protection Act are followed and executed to protect the birds in sanctuary. Mr. Jatan, posted as Ranger in Keoladeo National Park had given a brief about the functioning of National Ghana Bird Sanctuary. He also told that this Bird Sanctuary is totally eco-friendly where any tourist whether he is VVIP or a common person has to visit this sanctuary only by using Rickshaw, Tanga and Bicycle or by walking. To maintain the eco-friendly atmosphere and to support our Hon’ble Prime Minister’s Fit India Movement we had opted bicycle for visiting this International Bird Sanctuary. We all peddle through the tiny road of bird sanctuary where almost 375 species of birds. Some of the birds and wild animals were physically seen namely Painted Stork, Sambar, Nilgai, Antelope, Sarus Cranes, African Comb Duck, Eurasian Spoonbill, Oriental Magpie-Robin, etc. We had also taken the photograph along with Painted Stork, Antelope etc.
