Report on International Yoga Day 2019
On this occasion a Seminar was organized by Jaipur Nursing College, Maharaj Vinayak Global University. Mrs. Pooja Mohan & Mrs. Rimmy Raju, Assistant Professor of Jaipur Nursing College were the resource person for this seminar. In this seminar, the importance of Yoga in our life / health including this year theme “Yoga for Climate Action” was emphasized. Prof. (Dr.) Yogesh Yadav, Principal & Dean, Jaipur Nursing College appeals to all the participants to practice Yoga in their daily living activities. During this seminar, all the teaching faculty, non teaching staff and M.Sc. Nursing, Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing, B.Sc. Nursing and GNM Students were present. All the participants got the opportunities regarding knowledge and practice of Yoga. Different Yoga Postures like Tadasan, Vrikshasana, Utthita Hastapadasana, Trikonsasana, Veerabhadrasana, Utkatasana, Marjariasana and Pranayam etc were presented by stating their significance on overall health. Students, faculty and staff also performed Yoga and Meditations for improving their concentration in studies and work. The event was concluded by singing National Anthem.
